A loan of $775 helped buying goats and food supplies.

Aida's story

Aida is a 24-year-old unemployed woman. She is married and has two children who are 7 and 3 years old. Her husband does seasonal work which is related to forestry. In that period, their monthly income is 500 KM (about US$375), but in the period when he does not work, the goats are their only source of income. Aida is not a new client; this is her second loan from Women For Women International in the amount of US$775. She used the first loan to buy goats. Thanks to the milk products of her goats, Aida can provide money and food for her family. Aida thinks that with a larger number of goats, she would be able to improve her life and the lives of her children.
