Gilberto's story

Gilberto, 44, lives in his own house with his wife and children. It does not have basic utilities and is located in Morropón Province belonging to Piura Department. Farming, raising livestock and crafts are typical activities in the zone.

Gilberto makes corn flour to sell that’s used to make Chicha de Jora (corn based beverage). He’s been in business for several years and sells to customers that are aware of it. This way he helps himself have more income allowing him to meet family expenses.

He has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a 2000 new sol loan to buy corn to grind into flour to sell which will allow for more income because his clientele has grown, to repay the loan and at the same time improve his family’s quality of life. Gilberto wants for later on that his business grows to continue helping his family and providing his children with more comfort.
