A loan of $3,125 helped a member to buy lingerie for her business.

Asuncion Group's story

The Asuncion group is located in the state of Mexico. The group is comprised of nine members. Mayola is a member who is a originally from the area. She is 35 years old, and she has been married for 18 years. She has three children (two boys and a girl). She has been selling lingerie for five years. She decided to start her business in order to help her husband cover some household expenses because his income is low.

Her greatest desire is for her children to have a better quality of life and that they finish their university studies. That is the reason she looks for work alternatives in order to be able to give them a better life.

She will use the loan that she gets to better stock her merchandise. That way she has the opportunity to buy larger quantities for a better price. Then she will get more income in order for her business to grow and for the quality of life.
