Venezuera Group's story

Aranyaeli is in his early 40s and married with four children who are still going to school. He has a lorry which he is using for his transport business. He gets tenders for delivering things like sand, small stones, roofing tiles and building materials. He has been in this business for 5 years now. He works from 6.00am to 7.30pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be his 5th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to buy a Bajaji (tricycle), paid school fees and household expenses. He has paid back all of his loans successfully. He hopes for a loan to start poultry business. His dream is to one day build another house.

He will share this loan with his loan group "Venezuela" which has a total of 15 members, who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
