A loan of $600 helped a member to purchase cattle.

Mahabadhan's Group's story

Mahabadhan is the leader of this group. She is 59 and married to a farmer. Together with her husband, she has raised two sons; the first son works as a cook in Osh and the second works in a brick factory. Mahabadhan and her husband are engaged in farming. Twenty-two years ago they sold part of their harvest and purchased cattle. Since that moment they have been breeding cattle.

Mahabadhan applied for the loan because she needs additional money to purchase more cattle. She believes that the loan will help her to realize the plan and she will repay the loan successfully. In the future she wishes to build a new house for her sons.
