The “Dos de Mayo” [May Second] community bank has been going for 4 years. It is made up of hardworking and enterprising people who are always looking for chances to get ahead and every day strive for a better future for their children. The community bank's meetings are held every month in the city of Cuzco. Most of the members live in the city of Cuzco (Perú).

At this meeting we meet Eusebia. She lives in the beautiful city of Cuzco and has three children. She is a housewife and is both mother and father to her children. Her friends consider her to be a responsible person who is kind and hardworking. Because of these qualities, they invited her to join the community bank. Eusebia was born in the city of Quiquijana in the province of Quispicanchis of the departament of Cuzco. Before, Eusebia worked for the city hall of the city of Anta. She was a construction worker, but now she sells firewood. She has her own space where she keeps her merchandise and sells the product as well. It has been 4 months since she began her business and it is going very well for her thanks to the dedication she brings to her work. At this time, she needs the loan to buy more firewood. She is 37 years old and a person who really wants to get ahead and have a succesful business day to day, always wanting to offer the best to her family.
