A loan of $2,800 helped a member to purchase ground nuts for resale.

Jokker Endem Group's story

The Joker Endam group was created on May 17, 2011, at the same time as their "Banc villageois" was inaugurated. It comprises 25 women, who all live in the same village. They are all retailers.

Mrs. Aminata, who is sitting towards the left of the group with her hand raised, is the group's leader. She is 20 years old, married, and a mother of one.

She retails ground nuts. She has been in this business for over a year.

Her loan will allow her to purchase ground nuts to resell.

With the profit, she intends to assist her husband with domestic expenditures.
