A loan of $900 helped a member to purchase livestock.

Tattygul's Group's story

Tattygul, 24, is the leader of this group. Despite being younger than the other members, she expressed a wish to lead the group. Tattygul is the young mother of two children, the oldest being three. Five years ago, following her husband’s initiative, she purchased her first livestock for 15,000 soms. She took good care of them, feeding and watering them, before further reselling in a farm yard. Her parents try to help her run the business, along with taking care of her children. The monthly income reaches 10,000 soms. Tattygul has applied for a loan from Kiva to buy more livestock. She thanks all Kiva lenders for this significant help.
