Syrgajan's Group's story

Syrgajan, 52, is the leader of this group. She resides in a town called Toktogul with a population of 19,000 people. She has a college-age daughter and a 17-year-old son. Syrgajan’s husband works in a hydroelectric station, while Syrgajan works hard breeding and selling cattle in order to make a living. Her business was started four years ago with the purchase of two heads of cattle for 8,000 soms. Currently her monthly income is 3,000 soms and it helped the family to get a small piece of land and increase the number of cattle they own. The purpose of the requested loan is to purchase more cattle for fattening and reselling.
