A loan of $1,600 helped a member to buy more clothing and electrical goods.

Tabudirira Group's story

Greetings from Zimbabwe! This is 48-year-old Alice (with the lovely white hat) from Mutare. She is married to a council policeman, and together they have five children. She also cares for three dependents.

Alice sells clothing and electrical goods. She has been in business for two years. The main challenge she faces is the lack of working capital.

Alice has requested a loan of $400 to buy more clothing and electrical goods. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her family to develop in a multitude of ways. In the future Alice plans to open a shop.
