Aster's Group's story

Aster is 43 years old and has given birth to a son and three daughters. Her husband works in a private organization on monthly wage. Aster is very supportive and knows that alone her husband is unable to meet the financial requirements of her family; that’s why she sells clothes in order to support him. She purchases clothes from different cloth markets of the city and sells to her local area clients at a profits. She is also a very good housewife and does her household responsibilities very well. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the expansion of her clothes-selling business. With the loan, she will buy clothes in bulk to fulfill the needs of her clients. She has been operating her clothes-selling business for the past two years. She hopes that after the loan investment she will be able to improve her business. She is a new loan user and this is her first loan application with Asasah. Note: In the photo, the lady raising her hand is Aster.
