Eva Olinda's story

Eva is 34 years old and single She lives in her parents' home which is located in a rural area of the Reque district, within minutes of the province of Chiclayo. The area is characterized by its people working in agricultural and livestock activities.

For the last few years, Eva has worked purchasing, raising and selling at retail poultry such as chickens, turkeys, ducks and cockerels. She raises them in the pen that is behind her house for better safety of the birds. They are fed a balanced feed and natural grains when possible. Once they have completed their growth, they are sold to different markets in the area and she also offers them directly to customers. With the income she earns, she is able to continue helping her parents.

She has requested a loan of 1,000 New Soles through Edpyme Alternativa, to continue buying poultry and to get incremental growth in her sales and income for her home, covering her personal needs. Eva is a responsible woman, hardworking and earnest, who is well-known by the locals where she lives. She want to improve economically and have a better quality of life
