Sandra is a member of the communal bank Los Claveles. She is a 28-year-old married mother of two. Her children are 8 and 6 years old. She earns her living making Ayacuchan retablos (wooden boxes decorated with images and customs of the area). She plans to use the loan to purchase: plaster, nails, glue, paint and flour.

Sandra and her husband make Ayacuchan retablos. Their parents are all artisans too. They met, got married and developed their art and now they process orders together. Her husband travels to fairs to show their work. Sandra likes FINCA Peru because it teaches people values like saving money. Also, during trainings they talk about marriage, family and business, which is good because they learn more this way. Sometimes she has had trouble when people order retablos but then can't pay in full. Sandra's dream is to build her own house and export her work.
