The 'Juntos al Progreso' (Together towards Progress) community bank has been working with Edaprospo for nine months. It has nine members who work in different businesses including selling soft drinks, selling fast food and running a grocery store.

L. is an entrepreneurial young woman who sells basic household products (Bodega Alexandra - Alexandra's Grocery Store). She is 27 years old and has a 4 year-old son. She started working in this business as she was let go from her previous job.

With her previous loan, L. was able to stock her store and also spend more time with her son. Her goal is to build a house so that she can provide her family with a better quality of life. She will use this loan to buy merchandise.

La alcancía comunal Juntos al Progreso trabaja con Edaprospo desde hace 9 meses, integrado por 9 socios de los cuales se dedican al negocio de venta de refrescos, venta de comidas rápidas, bodegas, entre otros.
L. es una joven emprendedora dedicada a la venta de productos de primera necesidad (BODEGA ALEXANDRA), a sus 27 años tiene un hijo de 4 años, inicia sus labores en ese negocio, debido a que es despedida en su anterior trabajo.
Con el préstamo recibido anteriormente ha podido implementar su bodega y además pasar mas tiempo con su hijo, la meta de L. es construir su vivienda para darle una mejor calidad de vida a su familia, con el préstamo recibido se realizara la compra de mercadería.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
