A loan of $1,100 helped to purchase enriched feed for his animals and products for stocking his store.

Francisco Teodoro's story

Francisco is 58 years of age and lives with his wife in his own home where they have only electrical service, located in the rural part of the Pacora district which is a long distance away from the department of Lambayeque. The primary economic activity in this region is agriculture.

Francisco has earned a living for some years raising and selling farm animals. His corral is located in the rear portion of his home. He feeds them with enriched feed so that his animals may achieve optimal growth and thus he may sell them in the various markets of the area making very good profits with which to cover daily expenses. His other business activity is serving customers at the store he has set up in his home.

He has requested a loan of 3,000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa in order to buy enriched feed and to stock his store so as to get more customers and meet their needs. Francisco is a hardworking person and very responsible. The only thing he wants is for his businesses to grow day by day so that he may pay off his loan and enjoy a better quality of life.
