The 10 members of BENKADI 4 are married women who average 32 years of age with an average of 4 children. They live with their husbands and their children in Memissala, a place about 30 km from the city of Niena in the Sikasso region, the 3rd administrative region of Mali.
They are on their fifth Country Loan cycle with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to obtain production means and farm inputs. Their previous loans were repaid in full.
The group grows corn, rice, peanuts, okra, and peas.
Fatoumata plans on buying 3 sacks of urea, 2 sacks of complex cereals, and the rest of the money will be used for labor costs and hoeing. They hope to make an average profit of 50,000 to 55,000 FCFA which will be used to pay for their families' daily expenses.

Les 10 membres de BENKADI 4 sont des femmes mariées qui, ont une moyenne d’âge de 32 ans, et ont en moyenne 4 enfants. EIles vivent avec leurs maries et leurs enfants à MEMISSALA, un situé à environ 30 km de la ville de NIENA région de Sikasso, 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Ces clientes sont à leur cinquième cycle de prêt de campagne avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin en moyen de production et intrant agricole. Les prêts antérieurs ont été remboursés avec satisfaction.
Ce groupe de femme fait la culture du maïs, du riz, d’arachide, de gombo, pois de terre etc
FATOUMATA compte acheter, 3 sacs d’urée 2 sacs de complexe céréale et le reste comme frais de labour et de sarclage. Il envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 50.000 à 55 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
