Group 3 of the BENKADI II association is composed of eight women who are all married. They have an average age of 31, have an average of three children and all live in polygamous families in Memissala, which is located about 30 km from the city of Nien in Sikasso region, the third administrative region of Mali.
This group is applying for its fifth loan with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to meet their needs to support their agricultural production. The previous loans were all fully repaid.
This group of women is growing corn, rice, groundnut, okra, etc., and the profitability of these products in this regiion is considerable.
Kadia plans to buy a bag of urea, 1 / 2 a bag of grain complex and use the rest to cover the costs of plowing and weeding. She expects to make an average profit of 10 000 to 15 000 FCFA which will be used for daily expenses of her family.

Le Groupe 3 de l’association BENKADI II est composé de huit femmes qui toutes mariées. Elles ont une moyenne d’âge de 31 ans, ont en moyenne 3 enfants et vivent toutes dans des familles polygames à MEMISSALA, situé à environ 30 km de la ville de NIENA région de Sikasso, 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Ces clientes sont à leur cinquième cycle de prêt de campagne avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin en moyen de production et intrant agricole. Les prêts antérieurs ont été remboursés avec satisfaction.
Ce groupe de femme fait la culture du maïs, du riz, d’arachide, de gombo etc et les rentabilités de ces spéculations dans cette zone sont bien reconnues.
KADIA compte acheter 1 sac d’urée 1/2 sac de complexe céréale et le reste comme frais de labour et de sarclage. Il envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen de 10 000 à 15 000 FCFA qui sera utilisée pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
