A loan of $750 helped to buy wood logs.

Elia's story

Elia, 38 years old, lives with her three children in her own house. For over 20 years she has been farming and working with livestock. However, this was not enough for her. Ten years ago she opted to have an additional business selling firewood. She does this in the space behind her her house.

To do this she has an electric saw so that she is able to cut the wood logs that she buys. She then sells them to her neighbors or to customers who request them. That is how she earns a living, which allows her to have income every week. With this income she is able to cover the family necessities. She is also able to invest in her business activities mentioned above like farming and livestock.

Now she wishes to have more firewood to sell. That is why she is asking for your help to be able to continue working. This will be her third loan with MFP. This will encourage her to work more in her sales, and it will give her the security of financial support. She pledges to make her payments on time. She will use the requested loan to buy more wood logs.
