Dolores Moserrate's story

In San Ignacio in the Colon parish, in the city of Portoviejo, the members of the Communal Bank "San Ignacio De Colon" meet every fortnight. The place is known for its hard-working people dedicated to agriculture and livestock.

Dolores is a founding member and also secretary of the communal bank. She likes it because her partners are very responsible and also good friends. She is 33 years old, married and has three children, aged 13, 11 and 5 years old. The oldest is in high school and the younger children in elementary school. Her husband is a driver.

Dolores is a housewife who sells household items like sheets, mattresses, fans, etc. She sells her products through booklets or a cumulative system. She also sells Yanbal also products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume and accessories for women). She works three days a week, leaving her goods on credit and collecting payment every week. Her products are received at a distributor in Portoviejo. She has been selling for 10 years and is doing quite well.

The requested loan is to buy household items and Yanbal products. Her dreams are to continue working and increase her business.
