Najla had hard times when her husband died, as she was responsible for raising her three children. She has worked in agriculture since 1986. To increase her income and to cover her children's expenses, Najla is planning to open a grocery store. She has requested a loan from Kiva's partner, Al Majmoua, to help her cover all the opening and preparation expenses.
