A loan of $925 helped to buy ingredients to prepare dishes, as well as to buy tables and chairs.

Miselida's story

Miselida, 59 years old, is a friendly and hard-working woman. She lives in her own house along with her dear, youngest daughter, Diana, who is 25. What she wishes for most is to work very hard to improve her quality of life. Cooking her delicious dishes that consist of fried chicken, french fries and hamburgers, Miselida passes her days selling these meals. She enjoys cooking a lot and she does it well. Her food is bought by many customers, who return for seconds for the delicious dishes. For the future of her business, she hopes to have a restaurant where she may sell the food she prepares all day and with greater tranquility since currently she only does it at night. Although she has eight years' experience with this work, she still finds it difficult to attend to all the customers that she has. With all the effort she makes, she hopes to be able to get ahead and improve her life. This is her eighth loan with MFP and she is saving to pay back on time since she does not want to cause problems to the members in her community bank where she feels very happy. With the 2,500 new "soles" requested, she will buy more ingredients to prepare her delicious dishes. With the rest of the money, she will buy tables and chairs to furnish her restaurant that she wants to have so much.
