A loan of $550 helped to renovate her dental practice.

Zulma Leonor's story

Zulma lives in Costa Hermosa and has a small dental practice. Previously, she worked in a private institution but when her employment ended she decided to look for a location to set up her own business. Now she would not change her situation for anything in the world and dreams of growing her business because she has been successful to date and able to help cover household expenses. She lives with her husband and three children, ages 2 through 15. She wants to see them all get ahead and receive a quality education.

Because of her dreams Zulma works persistently. In addition to her private practice she also lends services in institutions in the afternoons and evenings. Many people know she offers quality work and they recommend her to other customers. Zulma provides cleaning, extractions, dental prostheses, root canals and crown work. This is her first loan through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation. She plans to use it to make improvements at her office in order to give it a more modern image in line with the services offered.
