A loan of $450 helped to buy cattle which he will sell in the same town.

Falemon's story

Falemon lives in Mexico. He is married and had seven children, three of whom are his responsibility: 18 year-old Rigoberto, 15 year-old Osvaldo and 11 year-old María Virgen.

Falemon buys cattle which he later sells in the same town. He has been in the business for approximately ten years and he says that it is doing well as it has enabled him to get his small family ahead in life. He requested this loan to further grow his business.

Falemon started working in this business because his father was in the same business when Falemon was young and when he got married he decided to do the same work as his father. However, first he went off to work somewhere else so that he could put together some savings with which to start his business.

Falemon's biggest wish is that, with this loan and his business, he will be able to save so that he can grow his business day by day and support his children in their studies.
