Roc Plus Group's story

Kamusuye is the leader of the Community Bank named “Roc Plus”, composed of 16 members united in solidarity for receiving Kiva loans with the goal of developing their businesses. 36 years old, Kamusuye is married and the father of two children aged 8 and 10 years old. Both the children attend school.

Kamusuye has been part of the micro-enterprise world since 2007. He runs a telephone booth in the area east of Kinshasa. He has acquired solid experience in this area, and works hard with good management skills, in order to realize his dream of one day becoming a phone accessory wholesaler in his neighborhood. He would also like to achieve financial independence through his business, that brings in US$100 of profit each week. He works to the best of his abilities and uses his contacts so that he might achieve his goal.

Kamusuye is a trustworthy client of the MFI HOPE RDC, who has received and repaid loans on time, three times. With his next loan, he will purchase some phone accessories preferred by his customers and increase his profits.
