Sor is 59 years old. She resides in the Kampong Chnang province of Cambodia, an area known for palm products. Sor and her husband are farmers, earning an income of USD 1.5 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend USD 50 on food and USD 10 on other necessary expenses.
Sor is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase a plot of farmland to grow more rice for the family's use. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
