A loan of $750 helped to buy potatoes, yams and yucca wholesale.

Clara's story

Clara, 44, lives with her husband their 4 children in their own house. !3 years ago she began selling vegetables in a street market very close to her house. Every morning she starts selling and continues until noon. But generally her work days begin at dawn when she has to go to the main wholesale market where the trucks come with the vegetables and she can buy them at a lower price. This is the why she has done well since as a middleman, she can raise the prices and take the merchandise to more remote areas where there isn’t much business.

The pleasure of stocking fresh vegetables is a point in her favor since the customers always come to her. She uses the earnings to invest in the business and to support her family. She will continue working with the idea of increasing her income and set up a stall. For this she is depending on each one of you to help her fulfill the plan. This is her 19th loan with MFP. She considers being part of a communal bank helpful because it allows her to share experiences and to always have assistance with financing. She will use the loan to buy seasonal products wholesale such as potatoes, yams and yucca.
