A loan of $375 helped to buy a motocarro.

Llerlith's story

Llerlith, 32, is a friendly, hard-working woman. She and her husband, Gilbert, 33, and their two children--Angel, 7, and Bill, 3--live with her parents. Her children are very dear to hear and what she most wants in the world is to give them a better quality of life. She operates a food sales business and her food stall is one of the busiest in the city of Pucallpa. Her customers come to her over and over to enjoy the delicious meals that she prepares for them. She has always liked to cook, from the time she was a young girl, and she's good at it so putting her skills to work building a business makes her very happy. She has operated the business for 5 years and what she most likes about it is cooking, something she does with great care. She wants to grow her business and provide a better service to her customers. She's asking for your help because she wants to borrow the money to make the improvements she's planning. She's an active member of her community bank. She will use the one-thousand new soles loan, along with her own savings, to buy a motocarro--a motorized vehicle for transportation and goods deliveries--which will be operated by her husband.
