Las Comadres De Neria Group's story

This photo was taken in Imelda's home. Imelda is a member of the "Las Comadres de Neria" group which is located in Veracruz, Mexico. You can see the ladies in the photo and also Imelda's business.

Imelda has been selling groceries for ten years. She is requesting this loan to invest in merchandise in order to increase the number of products she has for sale. Her customers consider her to be a nice, responsible person in whom they can trust. At the time of requesting this loan, Imelda feels happy that she can re-invest in her business. She is 32 years old, studied to high school level, is married, and has two children (a daughter and a son). She would like her loan to invest in her grocery store. She also hopes to be able to save some of her profits, improve herself and support her children in their education since it is the only way they have to get ahead.
