A loan of $500 helped to buy plantains, papaya and other seasonal fruits.

Nayruth Noeli's story

Nayruth, 21, was born in the district of Calca, which lies in the province of Calca in the department of Cusco. (Calca is 45 minutes fro the city of Cusco). Currently she lives in the city where she was born and is part of the village bank "Clorinda Matto de Turner" in the Arariwa Association. Calca is known for having beautiful countrysides and is a zone of tourism, cattle and agriculture.

Nayruth buys and sells fruits. Once a week she travels to the jungle, specifically to the city of Yanatile, and buys fruit. She returns to Calca to distribute or sell to different vendors in the markets of the city. On this occasion she needs a loan to increase her business capital. With this loan of US$500 she will stock her store with more products. For example, she will buy plantains, papayas and other fruits that are in season.

Nayruth is a go-getter and her dream is to make her business grow. She is very thankful to the Arariwa Association Movement for helping women like her to have the opportunity to be able to realize their dreams.
