Binti is a married woman who has children, all of whom attend school. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family. She owns a house that lacks electricity and water.
For the past 20 years, Binti has owned and operated a kindergarten for children from the neighboring community. She also sells khangas, which provides her with an additional source of income. Binti dreams of expanding her school and having it become the best area school in the future.
Binti joined Yehu to access funds that will help her boost her business. The Kshs 50,000 loan will allow her to purchase chairs for the school and khangas and coconuts to sell.
