Phann's story

Mrs. Phann is shown in the photo. She is a resident of Siem Reap Province. Selling porridge is her daily activity to earn money and feed her children. Besides this business, she sells various items in front of her house, to villagers and other travelers, earning approximately US$3 a day for these activities.

To share responsibility with Mrs. Phann, her husband works as a car taxi driver. At present, the couple lives with three single children, two of whom are employed in various job to earn an income, while the other seven are married and live in their own houses. Mrs. Phann is requesting a loan to buying a new motorbike for her employed children, so they can reduce the costs of their work commute.
