A loan of $550 helped to purchase supplies for her craft business.

Luz Angelica's story

Sra. Luz is a member of the Communal Bank “Mujeres Forjadoras” (Forging Women) which is in the District of Yarinacocha, Department of Ucayali. She is 34 years old and has three children. Her husband works as a driver in the transportation sector.

Luz recently joined the Manuela Ramos family in order to take advantage of the benefits. Thanks to the loans she has received, she was able to buy the necessary supplies for her handicraft business. Her two young daughters help her with the work.

Her new loan of 1500 PEN will be used to buy one kilo of beads, three rolls of nylon, fifty fasteners, three lighters, and three craft magazines.

Luz is pleased because she is able to teach her daughters how to earn an income. She hopes to continue working with Manuela Ramos.
