A loan of $375 helped to buy sacks of manure.

Prudencio's story

Prudencio, 39, is a cheerful, hard working man living in his own house with his wife, Janeth, 31, and his three beloved children who he wants to provide a better quality of life for. His farmland that he’s acquired with so much effort is Prudencio’s main source of support for his family. His products are in very high demand in the city of San Francisco since he’s well known for producing good quality cocoa beans, coffee and “barbasco” (an evergreen shrub) and they are sold for very good prices. He strives always to protect his crops from the insect infestations that can affect the fruit. He’s been in this line of work for 15 years and considers the most difficult part transporting the sacks of product which are very heavy. He plans later on to buy a van to provide taxi service between Santa Rosa and San Francisco. This is his second loan with MFP. He knows that the contribution will be very beneficial for his work’s development so he commits to repay punctually. He is a very cheerful member of his communal bank and he always maintains order during the meetings. He will use the requested loan to buy sacks of manure to improve the soil so that he can harvest fruit in abundance later.
