A loan of $925 helped to buy merchandise for her store and animals.

Maria Erlinda's story

Erlinda is 54 years old and lives together with her husband and children in a small, developing, rural community in Illimo district, Lambayeque. Erlinda is a hard-working woman who sells animals throughout Illimo district. She also has a grocery store where she sells groceries, candies and drinks. She has a lot of demand. Through these two business activities, Erlinda helps her husband, who is a construction worker, to cover their household expenses. Erlinda is requesting a loan for 2,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. She will divide this money between her two businesses. She will buy animals and animal feed and also merchandise with which to stock her store. Erlinda has a great desire to grow in both of her businesses so that she can improve her quality of life. For this reason, she is very grateful for her loan as it will be very useful to her.
