The members of the Communal Bank “Cooperativa Patrón San Miguel” (St. Michael’s Cooperative) meet in the neighborhood of Pailaloma, which is located 60 minutes away from the Cooperativa San Jose office in the canton of Chillanes. This Communal Bank has 13 members who engage in farm activities that involve growing corn, potatoes, and wheat.

Marcos is a farmer who grows corn, potatoes, and wheat. His supplies are purchased in Chillanes and San Pablo at the end of each month. He sells his goods at the fair every Sunday in Chillanes.

Marcos is requesting a loan to buy supplies for his crops, such as fertilizers and compost. The support from this loan will help him financially to access what he needs to increase production. Among the challenges he faces are pests, diseases, and changes in weather. His dreams are to provide his son with an education and to buy more land.

He enjoys playing sports and celebrating the Carnival festivities.

Los miembros de la V.R.C. COOPERATIVA Patrón San Miguel se encuentra ubicada en el recinto Pailaloma a 60 minutos de la oficina pertenece al Cantón Chillanes, esta ventanilla de 13 miembros se dedica a las labores agrícolas de cultivos de maíz, papas y trigo.

Marcos se dedica a la agricultura a la siembra de maíz, papas y trigo, los productos los compra en Chillanes y en San Pablo cada fin de mes y los vende en la feria de los domingos en Chillanes.

Solicita el crédito para la comprar de insumos para los cultivos además de fertilizantes y abonos. Con el apoyo del crédito le ayudaría económicamente para suplir sus necesidades y aumentar la producción. Enfrentar desafíos como las plagas y enfermedades y la variedad del clima. Su sueño es educar al hijo y comprar terrenos.
