Guillermina's story

Guillermina belongs to the Perolniyoc Communal Bank. The bank is located in the Urubamba district, Urubamba province, Cusco department. Guillermina, age 46, is a widow and has eight children. She alternates her daily activities with her business of selling potatoes, corn, grains, and wheat. She sells in an itinerant manner at the Urubamba market. She sells from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. She has land where she grows potatoes and corn. Sometimes she takes her products to sell in places like Calca and Cusco. She wants to expand her business of selling grains. She is requesting the loan to buy grains like potatoes, corn, and wheat wholesale. She is happy about the loan, and she pledges to make her payments.
