Jovial Group's story

Madame Fatimata is the representative of the Jovial group. She is married and the mother of four children, the oldest of whom is 18 and the youngest, nine months. Three of her children go to school, and she also supports three other people.

Madame Fatimata has been selling peanut butter and "zoom koom" (a drink made from millet and ginger) for three years. She gets her supplies in Goursi, a village in Burkina Faso, and her clients are her neighbors. She would like to buy nine bags of peanuts and one bag of millet.

With her profits, she would like to take care of her children. Her goals are to buy a machine to shell and grind the peanuts and to pay for her children's schooling, in order to make sure they have bright futures.
