Damira's Group

A loan of $1,200 helped a member to purchase a calf and pay for her daughter's graduation party.

Damira's Group's story

Damira, 36, is the leader of this group. Together with her husband she is raising three daughters, all of whom study at school. In order to meet their needs, the family breeds cattle. They make additional money by selling dairy products. In this way Damira earns 5,500 soms per month. With the profits from her loan she wants to purchase a calf for breeding; a part of the loan will also be used to pay for her daughter’s graduation party. In the near future Damira plans to start repairing her house.
