Bok Jom Group's story

The solidarity group Bok jom was founded on May 5, 2010. It has 11 women members who are from the same village.
Their main business activity is farming and selling oil.

Ms. Fatou, at the far right of the photo, is the head of the group. She is forty years old and takes care of five children.

Her main business is the farming of peanuts. However, she also has a secondary business of producing peanut oil from the peanuts.

The loan will allow her to purchase a sufficient quantity of high-quality seeds to prepare for the rainy season.

Her goal is to purchase new inputs so that she can increase her production capacity.

She also wants to help with the daily, household expenses.
