Yduvina's story

Yduvina, 47, lives with her daughter in her own house which has running water and electricity. It is located in Pueblo Nuevo, about 15 minutes from the province of Chepén and two hours from the department of La Libertad (Trujillo). The local population in these areas is active mainly in agriculture, livetock farming and tourism.

In the front part of her home, Yduvina hs set up a grocery store where she sells all kinds of products for domestic use (bread, eggs, oil, milk, tuna, bleach, detergent and all types of sweets, etc.). For four years she has been in business trying to provide a better lifestyle for her daughter.

She is requesting a loan in the amount of 1,500 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa to buy products for her store and offer her customers everything they need, in an effort to increase her household income. Yduvina is known by her neighbors as being a hard-working woman, intent on continuing to improve her lifestyle and giving her daughter all she can.
