Mrs. Concepción T. is known as Conchita, has been selling clothing for 20 long years in the city of Managua. She is a married mother of two children who are the most precious things she has.

Mrs. T. began her business with the goal of bettering the condition of her home as there were few resources and only the low income her husband provided, which was not enough to maintain their home.

She has worked with Ceprodel for 2 years and she says that she has had great opportunities to improve her business. Because of the loans she has experienced greater volumes of sales that have benefited her business, but above all, have provided the support for her children.

Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry. Supporting a borrower through CEPRODEL means contributing to the promotion and sustainability of this important work in Nicaragua.
