Kaze Ii Group's story

Faustin is a 54 year-old merchant residing in the regional capital of the Ruyigi district, in eastern Burundi. He has been trading goats for 15 years, while also being a farmer. He is married to Lea Nizigiyimana, herself a farmer, and they have three children together, who are students. He went to school up to the sixth grade of primary school.

He is requesting a Kiva loan to increase his capital in order to purchase great numbers of goats for resale, so that he can make a large profit. This activity makes it possible for him to provide for his family's basic needs and his children's school expenses.

He is a member of the "Kaze II" community group.
