Faustin est un commerçant âgé de 54ans qui habite au chef lieu de la Province de Ruyigi située à l’Est du Burundi. Il fait le commerce de chèvres depuis 15 ans et il est en même temps cultivateur. Il est marié a Léa elle-même cultivatrice et ont ensemble 3 enfants qui étudient. Il a fait ses études jusqu’en 6e année primaire.

Il demande le crédit Kiva pour augmenter son capital pour acheter de grandes quantités de chèvres a revendre afin de réaliser de grands bénéfices. Cette activite lui permet d’assurer les besoins élémentaires familiaux et la scolarité de ses enfants.
