Phally, aged 43, is married and resides with her children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has three children. She is a hairdresser, earning an income of $5 per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband who is a motor-taxi driver, earning an income of $6 per day. Their standard of living has improved since Phally and her husband have had these businesses. Phally is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase more hairdressing equipment to improve her current business. This is her fourth loan from CREDIT, a partner of Kiva.
