Mahabat's Group's story

Mahabat is the leader of this group. She is 32 years old and is married to a farmer. Together with her husband, she brings up a daughter and a son. Their son, 9, is studying at school and their daughter is of pre-school age (under seven). In order to earn money for the family, Mahabat takes orders and sews Kyrgyz national blankets and pillows. At the moment, her husband is working in construction, therefore most of the agricultural work fall on Mahabat’s shoulders. Mahabat’s has applied for this loan because she needs funds to purchase 100 liters of fuel and some sheep for breeding.
