Sagom's story

Sagom, age 48, is married and resides with her children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has two children. She is engaged in a business of raising pigs to resell, earning an income of $3 per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband, who produces wooden furniture and earns an income of $8 per day. Their standard of living has been improved since Sagom and her husband have had these businesses.
