A loan of $300 helped to buy more wool.

Felicita's story

Felicia, 63, is a woman who has worked hard during her life. She lives in her own house and what she wants most is to have a peaceful old age. Since she was 10 years old she has done creative knitting. She started knitting to help her parents finish their orders. Now she has her own knitting workshop located in her house in the Villa el Salvador area where she cheerfully takes care of her customers. What she most likes about her work is chatting with the customers and advising them about which articles look the best on them. She has done this work for the last 15 years and what she finds the most difficult is staying in the workshop all day to sell. She knows that she has to work very hard to achieve her goals-for her business to grow and to have a specialty clothing shop. This is her 8th loan with MFP. She plans to make her payments on time since she doesn't want to jeopardize the position of the other members of the communal bank where she is very respected and liked. She will use the loan to buy more wool to continue producing the knitwear orders that she has.
