A loan of $875 helped to purchase animals and the appropriate feed.

Jose Patrocinio's story

José is 24 years old, single, and lives with his parents in a house that they own. The only service they receive is electricity. Their home is located in the rural section of the Department of Lambayeque. The businesses that operate in this area are related to agriculture, livestock breeding, and tourism.

José has been raising and selling sheep for some time. He raises the animals in an area behind his house. The animals are fed balanced feed and natural grasses. Once the animals reach the ideal size and weight, José offers them for sale to different markets in the cities of Lambayeque and Chiclayo. This enables him to generate healthy profits so that he can cover his personal expenses and provide some financial assistance to his parents.

José is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 2400 PEN so that he can buy more animals and the appropriate feed. Due to the lack of rain, grass is scarce. The loan will enable him to feed his animals so that he can sell them at a good price.

José is a person who is well-known in the area where he lives because he is responsible and hardworking. He has managed to get ahead in life so that he can improve himself and pay for some his parents’ expenses.
