A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a display unit.

Lucila Sotera's story

Lucila sells products like pickled fruit, soft drinks, cured meats, groceries, etc. in a store located in the southern part of the city of La Paz. She used to sell wholesale condiments but she got the opportunity to open a store that would produce more income. She is a very enterprising person.

She also sells stuffed potatoes, dessert and rice in a space set aside in her store. In March she inaugurated a Broaster Chicken place in the same neighborhood to improve her income. Since a very young age, Lucila has taken care of her family and with much effort managed to raise her younger siblings.

She is asking for a loan to buy a display unit to use in the store. Lucila is a very enterprising, hard working person. She’s been a client for over three years and has always been responsible and punctual with her payments. In the short run she plans to invest in new businesses to improve the standard of living of her siblings and of her family.
