A loan of $925 helped to buy chairs, pictures and non-perishable goods.

Aurora's story

Aurora is a single mother, who lives with her young son in her parents' house. She decided to be self-employed 5 years ago in order to spend enough time with her son, who was a baby at the time. With the help of her mother, she began this business which now generates profit. She prepares breakfast, lunch and supper for 15 permanent customers that she has, and sells lunchtime meals to others every day. She begins to prepare various dishes early in the morning. Recently, the number of customers has increased and, as a result, she needs to enlarge her establishment and make it more welcoming. This is her 10th loan from MFP. She has considerable experience with her communal bank. She is very pleased to be one of its members. She has proven very cooperative and is punctual in making her payments. She now renews her commitment to make all her payments on schedule and is very grateful to all those who have made this loan possible. With the loan, she will invest in new chairs, pictures and also some non-perishable ingredients for her dishes.
