A loan of $375 helped to buy ingredients for her meals and soft drinks for her business.

Virginia Nores's story

Virginia, 23, is single living in her parents’ house, which only has electricity, and is located in the rural part of Illimo District which is 45 minutes from Lambayeque Department. Its residents are farmers, raise livestock and are artisans.

For several years, Virginia has been selling meals and soft drinks that she herself prepares. Her business is installed in her parents’ house which allows her to earn daily income to help her sister meet household expenses.

Virginia has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a 1000 new sol loan to buy ingredients to continue preparing the food she sells and also to buy soft drinks for her customers’ daily consumption. Having the necessary ingredients will make it possible for her to offer other dishes to increase her clientele and her income and thus have improvements in her personal development to repay her loan and so that the business will do well.

Virginia very much wants to get ahead with her business; her future goal is to have a restaurant of her own.
